MSc Real Estate Finance and Investment
Omar has more than two decades of experience in real estate and finance, with expertise spanning investment origination, deal structuring, due diligence, valuations, and asset management. He has been a member of the Castellana Management Team since its establishment in 2017, where he led the platform’s growth and closed retail real estate transactions across Iberia with an aggregate value exceeding €2 billion over the past seven years. He now assumes the role of Group Chief Investment Officer at Vukile Property Fund, with responsibility for investment strategy and capital allocation across the Group’s global portfolio in South Africa, Iberia and Italy.
Prior to moving to Madrid, Omar served as Head of Investments at Vukile Property Fund in Johannesburg, where he was responsible for direct acquisitions and M&A. His earlier career includes positions at Investec Bank and the Public Investment Corporation (PIC).
Omar holds an MSc in Real Estate Finance and Investment from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.
